I am elated to serve the Monrovia Middle School community as an assistant principal. This school is a special place filled with incredible people and I look forward to working alongside each of them.
I was born and raised in the Monrovia community and am a product of Sparkman High School. I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Athens State University and a Master of Education in Administration of Elementary and Secondary Education from Auburn University -- War Eagle!
I have spent the majority of my career in Madison County Schools having taught sixth grade at both Monrovia Middle School and Sparkman Middle School. I truly love working in the middle school setting. It is really remarkable to watch students journey through some of the most formative years of their childhood and learn who they are, while still figuring out who they want to be. A lot of growth happens and I am lucky to have a front row seat!
My husband Brandon and I have three children: Grant, Brewer and Sarah Gayle. Together we enjoy going to the beach, camping and attending concerts. Most of our spare time, however, is spent at a ball field or a dance studio.
It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve the students, families, and staff of Monrovia Middle School. I look forward to seeing what all we can accomplish -- together. Go Hawks!
