Mrs. Daffney Legston

Greetings Monrovia Family!

I’m Mrs. Legston, and I’m honored to serve as Assistant Principal here at Monrovia Middle School. With over 20 years of experience in education, I’m passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Before joining Monrovia, I served as a Collaborative Teacher at Madison County High School and as an Assistant Principal at Sparkman High School. These experiences have shaped my belief in the power of strong partnerships between educators, families, and the community to drive student success.

Outside of school, I’ve been happily married to my husband, Eddie Legston Sr., a retired Army veteran, since 1990. We’re proud parents of three wonderful children and grandparents to five beautiful grandchildren. We also share our home with our beloved dog, Levi.

I’m excited to be part of the Monrovia family, home of the Hawks, and I look forward to working together to support our students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
